Special Offers Featured as Capitals Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Sept. 15

Season-ticket holders, fans at Training Camp to receive first opportunity to purchase tickets
ARLINGTON, Va. – Single-game tickets for the Washington Capitals 2007-08 regular-season home games will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m., at 202-432-SEAT, on WashingtonCaps.com and at all local Ticketmaster outlets, including the Verizon Center box office.
Capitals season-ticket holders have an exclusive opportunity to purchase single-game tickets prior to public sale through an order form that they received from their ticket account representative. In addition, fans attending Fan Fest at the opening of Capitals Training Camp on Sept. 14 will have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets at a special presale available only at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.
The Capitals’ 2007-08 special ticket offers include: Pack the House Six Packs: Three packages of six popular games starting at only $99, designed to fill Verizon Center with Capitals fans for the team’s biggest games Family Pack Nights: Special nights where fans can get four tickets, hot dogs, sodas and baseball hats for $96 Eagle’s Nest tickets: Eagle’s Nest seats are just $10, and 50 will be reserved for day-of-game sales beginning three hours prior to game time at the Verizon Center box office Student Rush Nights: Students with valid 2007-08 IDs can purchase $10 upper-level or $25 lower-level tickets beginning at 4 p.m. on the day of every Thursday and Friday night game at the Verizon Center box office, based on availability

More than 1,600 seats at Verizon Center have decreased in price this season as part of a seating realignment; sections in both the lower and upper bowls that previously had multiple price levels will now have a uniform price throughout the section. Included in that realignment is the creation of four Mezzanine Corner sections with tickets available for $22, or a 37% savings from some of the same seats a year ago.
The Capitals also offer a Full-Season Ticket Plan, a 19-game Weekend Plan and a You Pick 11 plan, in which fans select the games they wish to attend. All plan holders can take advantage of the Caps PowerPay option – interest-free monthly payments with full-season plans starting as low as $75 per month.

Pack the House Six Packs The Capitals will feature three six-game starter plans designed to fill Verizon Center with Capitals fans for the team’s biggest games, with prices starting at only $99 for Mezzanine Corner tickets. Included in those six-game plans is the Rivals Plan, which features tickets for the home opener against the Carolina Hurricanes (Oct. 6) and games against five of the Capitals’ most popular opponents. Single-game tickets for those five games, other than Eagle’s Nest and VIP seats, will range from $37 (Mezzanine Corners) to $95 (Center Preferred).
Other Pack the House Six Packs are a Saturday Night Game Plan and an Old-Time Hockey Game Plan featuring several of Washington’s old Patrick Division rivals. Eagle’s Nest Once again this season the Capitals will offer $10 ticket for every game in the Eagle’s Nest. Fifty of the $10 Eagle’s Nest tickets will be reserved for day-of-game sales beginning three hours prior to game time at the Verizon Center box office.
