ARLINGTON, Va. – The National Hockey League has postponed the Washington Capitals’ home games against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday due to the severe snow impacting the Washington, D.C., area. A make-up date will be announced as soon as it can be confirmed. The Capitals will email all season-ticket holders and communicate updates via WashingtonCaps.com and social media platforms once confirmed. Tickets for the originally scheduled game will be honored for the rescheduled date. All guests must retain their original tickets in order to attend the new game date and time. Additional information will be communicated directly to ticket holders via e-mail.
The Capitals will not practice on Saturday or Sunday. Monday’s practice schedule will be announced at a later time.
