NHL Network to Broadcast Episode Three of Caps Red Line on Dec. 20

ARLINGTON, Va. – Four-time Emmy award winning series Caps Red Line (CRL) presented by GEICO will broadcast episode three on NHL Network on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 6:00 p.m. Episode one will re-air on Dec. 20 at 5:00 p.m., and episode two will re-air at 5:30 p.m. on NHL Network.

CRL is a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes look at the Washington Capitals. Monumental Network’s Hayley Milon hosts CRL this season, while Elliot Segal from DC 101’s Elliot in the Morning serves as segment host.

CRL won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Program Achievement for Sports – Programming Series, by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS-NCCB) in 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2014 it received an Emmy in the Sports Program Feature/Segment category.

The Sunday, Dec. 20, episode features:

Cruisin’ presented by GEICO

Take a ride with Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov as he discusses transitioning to the NHL, learning English and connecting with his Capitals teammates.

The episode also includes a bonus Cruisin’ presented by GEICO, featuring a segway tour around the National Mall with forwards Nicklas Backstrom, Andre Burakovsky, Marcus Johansson and Brooks Laich.
