Meet and Greet with Soliders at DC ChopHouse

by Staff Writer / Washington Capitals
The Capitals teamed up with the D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation and District ChopHouse and Brewery to sponsor wounded soldiers from Walter Reed Army Medical Center and military officials on Feb. 24.

The Capitals donated tickets to Sunday’s game against the New Jersey Devils for a group of 60 soldiers and D.C. firefighters. After the game, District ChopHouse and Brewery hosted a meal for the group. Caps forward Eric Fehr and defenseman Sami Lepisto met with the soldiers and firefighters at ChopHouse, where they signed autographs and took pictures with everyone in attendance.
