Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic and Caps Players to Host 4th Wish Upon A Par

Arlington, Va. - On Jan. 12, 2020, Brooks and Erin Orpik, along with Tom Wilson from the Washington Capitals, will join Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic in hosting Wish Upon a Par at Topgolf in National Harbor. The event offers Caps fans the chance to spend time with Washington Capitals players in support of local wishes. There are two options for participation: bid to spend time with a favorite player and four of your friends, or purchase a ticket which includes a player meet and greet.

Regular tickets are now available atwishuponapar.org. One ticket to this event includes access to a meet & greet session with all attending Caps players; 3.5 hours of play; food and non-alcoholic beverages; 2 drink tickets for beer/wine and access to a special silent auction.

In addition, fans can bid on the opportunity to play a round of Topgolf with select Capitals players starting on December 16. This VIP experience features one Topgolf game for the winner, four of their guests and one Capitals player. The package also includes food, unlimited beer and wine, along with access to a special silent auction. 

Several current and former Capitals players will be in attendance, including Brooks Orpik, Tom Wilson, Nicklas Bäckström, Travis Boyd, John Carlson, Nic Dowd, Lars Eller, Radko Gudas, Carl Hagelin, Garnet Hathaway, Braden Holtby, Nick Jensen, Michal Kempný, Brendan Leipsic, T.J. Oshie, Richard Panik, Jonas Siegenthaler and Jakub Vrána. Coach Reirden and NBC Sports Washington commentators Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin will also be participating in the auction and meet & greet, making the day more exciting for wish kids and fans alike.
