Local Broadcasters Launch Voices of D.C. Sports: Helping to Feed the City

Proceeds benefit Capital Area Food Bank, DC Central Kitchen and Martha's Table

ARLINGTON, Va. - Fourteen local sports broadcasters from the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals, Major League Soccer's D.C. United, Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals, National Football League's Washington Redskins, and National Basketball Association's Washington Wizards announced today Voices of D.C. Sports: Helping to Feed the City.

Through the initiative, fans are encouraged to request video messages from the individual personalities through the personalized video shoutout platform Cameo. For a minimum $25 donation, the selected broadcaster will record a personalized video message. Proceeds will benefit DC Central Kitchen, the Capital Area Food Bank and Martha's Table. Fans can also make a donation to the charities by texting DCSPORTS to 44321.
