Brooks Laich attended the DMB Sports Camp in Lansdowne, Va., on Friday, July 11. The week-long camp consisted of 100 kids ranging from 6-15 years of age. Laich talked to the campers about how he began playing hockey, how he made it to the NHL and what it’s like to play for the Washington Capitals. He answered questions, took pictures with participants and signed autographs.
“I had a great time today,” said Laich. “It was great to see the excitement that these kids had for Caps hockey and it was fun to be able to share some skills with them.”
Laich also participated in several floor hockey games, playing with each age group of campers as well as the counselors.
