John Carlson Joins Caps on the Fly March 22 at Hilton Garden Inn

ARLINGTON, Va. – The sixth edition of Caps on the Fly, the Washington Capitals’ monthly, hour-long live broadcast from the Hilton Garden Inn Washington D.C. Downtown, will be Monday, March 22, from 6 to 7 p.m., with defenseman John Carlson joining host Mike Vogel. Fans can watch the show live at the Hilton Garden Inn, located across the street from the McPherson Square Metro stop with access from the Blue and Orange lines at 815 14th Street NW in downtown Washington, D.C., or online at This is the final edition of Caps on the Fly this season.

Last month’s Caps on the Fly featured left wing Jason Chimera, who discussed what it was like to be traded in the middle of the season and how he was fitting in on the team. Fans can view archived episodes at the Caps on the Fly homepage. has proven to be extremely popular with fans looking for more Caps content. The site saw its monthly visits increase by 33% from February 2009 and its audio and/or video podcasts routinely draw audiences in the thousands (live and downloaded).
