ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capitals rookie camp will conclude on Thursday, Sept. 15, with a 5 p.m. game against rookies from the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the Capitals and Flyers rookies have met in a game. Philadelphia will broadcast streaming coverage of the game live, which will also be available at WashingtonCaps.com.

The Capitals will open rookie camp on Saturday, Sept. 10, with all on-ice workouts at Kettler Capitals Iceplex open to the public and free of charge. Select participants in rookie camp will be invited to join veteran players in training camp, which begins Friday, Sept. 16. Like rookie camp, all training camp on-ice workouts are open to the public. A complete schedule of practice sessions for both rookie camp and training camp will be announced at a later date.
