ARLINGTON, Va. – Four-time Emmy award winning series Caps Red Line (CRL) presented by GEICO will debut its eighth season on NHL Network on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 3:30 p.m.
CRL is a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes look at the Washington Capitals. Monumental Network’s Hayley Milon will host CRL this season, while Elliot Segal from DC101’s Elliot in the Morning will continue to serve as segment host.
CRL won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Program Achievement for Sports – Programming Series, by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS-NCCB) in 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2014 it received an Emmy in the Sports Program Feature/Segment category.

Cruisin’ presented by GEICO
Take a ride with Capitals forward Jason Chimera and the rest of the Washington Capitals as they go through a team building rowing exercise on the Potomac River, featuring a competition between Team USA, Team Canada and Team Europe/Russia.
Monumental Network’s All Access
To kick off the premiere episode, goaltender Braden Holtby grants Monumental Network All Access to his pregame rituals before the Capitals’ game against the New Jersey Devils. The segment also includes commentary from goaltending coach Mitch Korn.
Monumental Network also goes behind-the-scenes with the Capitals players at the season ticket holder party at Six Flags. The segment features commentary from Brooks Laich and go-pro action from Laich, T.J. Oshie, Alex Ovechkin and their significant others.
