Congressional Hockey Challenge

Washington Capitals alumni Peter Bondra and Alan May will participate in the sixth-annual Congressional Hockey Challenge charity hockey game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va.

Congressman Larry Bucshon, MD (R-IN), Congressman Brian Higgins (D-NY), Congressman Pat Meehan (R-PA), Congressman Erik Paulsen (R-MN) and Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL) are scheduled to play on the Lawmakers team.

Bondra, a former Capitals right wing, will play with the Lawmakers, while May, a former Capitals left wing, will play with the Lobbyists.

Tickets are available for $10 and may be purchased online at or beginning at 6 p.m. at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on March 5.

The Congressional Hockey Challenge is an organization that supports an annual ice hockey game for charity, and has raised over $400,000 for charity since 2009.
