Clark, Bradley to Attend Washington Capitals Appreciation Night at Legg Mason Tennis Classic

ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capital forwards Chris Clark and Matt Bradley will attend Washington Capitals Appreciation Night on Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic. Clark and Bradley will be on the court for a ceremony honoring the Capitals prior to the start of the 7 p.m. session.

 
The annual tennis tournament is held at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park, and fans are encouraged to wear Capitals gear and support the reigning Southeast Division champions.
 
Tickets for tomorrow’s festivities are $30 and are still available. Main draw competition begins at 4 p.m. and tickets may be purchased through TicketMaster at www.leggmasontennisclassic.com.
 
Clark and Bradley will also be at tonight’s open house at Verizon Center. The event runs from 6-8 p.m. and allows fans to select their season-ticket plans for the upcoming 2008-09 Capitals season. Clark and Bradley will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans.
 
Steve Kolbe, the radio voice of the Capitals, will host the event tonight and Slapshot and Capitals inflatables will be at Verizon Center to entertain children.
 
Refreshments will be available and participants are encouraged to RSVP for tonight’s open house at WashingtonCaps.com.
