Chris Simon Inducted into Little Native Hockey League’s Hall of Fame

Washington Capitals alumnus Chris Simon was inducted into the Little Native Hockey League’s Hall of Fame in March 2016. Simon, a native of Wawa, ON, Canada played seven seasons as a left winger with the Washington Capitals, totaling a career 782 NHL regular-season points. The LNHL’s website notes that Alumni of the Little NHL are “former hockey players who participated in the Little NHL and have advanced to play hockey at a higher caliber. Furthermore, Alumni members have been instrumental in advocating hockey development in their communities and continue to support participation in the Little NHL Tournament.”
