The Washington Capitals will once again participate in Miracle on Seventh Street at the District ChopHouse & Brewery Christmas Day, Dec. 25, in downtown Washington, D.C. Caps players will attend this event that will provide more than 400 under-privileged children and their families with a feast of roast turkey, ham, vegetables, white cheddar mashed potatoes and fresh baked cookies; clothes to include a new coat, shoes, socks, hat, gloves, sweatshirt and sweatpants; essential supplies and toiletries; and new toys for every child delivered by Santa himself. This is the third year the District ChopHouse has hosted this event, and each year the Capitals have been involved.
Caps fans are also invited to help by providing cash donations, products and/or specific in-kind services. For more information on Miracle on Seventh Street contact Suellen Keller at 202-347-1922 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
