Caps Halloween Puck Surprise Raises Over $10,000 for Charity

by Staff Writer / Washington Capitals
Washington Capitals Charities raised $10,500 during the Oct. 21 Halloween Puck Surprise, selling packages that included autographed pucks, Hershey’s Kisses and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Fans took home more than 400 pucks signed by current Capitals. Caps fans Denise Johnson, Peg Miller, Debra Abramowitz, Russ Wolf and Megan Hardman selected pucks that were not signed by a player, and as a result got to meet right wing Richard Zednik after the game. Zednik signed their pucks and took pictures with the winners.

altThe Capitals would like to congratulate our Halloween Puck Surprise winners and all of the participants who helped make it a success. If you missed out on the action or would like to participate again, look for the Valentine’s Day Puck Surprise in February.
