Capitals Wives Club Raises Nearly $8,000 through Christmas Tree Raffle

by Staff Writer / Washington Capitals
The Washington Capitals Wives Club raised $7,780 for Washington Capitals Charities through their Christmas Tree Raffle. The players’ wives and girlfriends sold raffle tickets throughout the month of December for two Christmas trees that were filled with hundreds of dollars in gift certificates, Capitals game-used equipment and autographed holiday ornaments and memorabilia.

altThe two winning tickets were drawn by Ticia Heward and Danielle Ence during the Caps game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Dec. 19. The two lucky winners were Christina Voss and Jim Hagerman. Thanks to all the Caps fans that supported this initiative. Happy holidays from the Capitals players and their wives and girlfriends!
