Capitals to Host Training Camp Day

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will host Caps Training Camp Day on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.

Caps Training Camp Day will celebrate the upcoming 2015-16 season with numerous activities for fans of all ages from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., including mini hockey and box hockey, poster making and face painters as well as interactive Club Scarlet, Red Rockers and Kids Club tables.

Select Capitals alumni will sign autographs from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wrist bands will be distributed to the first 400 alumni signing session attendees and are required to receive an autograph.

The Capitals will officially open their NHL training camp on Friday, Sept. 18, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex, the Metro-accessible, inside-the-Beltway practice facility that features two NHL-sized rinks. All Capitals practices and on-ice workouts, which will include multiple scrimmages, are open to the public.
