ARLINGTON, Va. –
The Washington Capitals will host a special open house at Verizon Center on Friday, Sept. 28, prior to the team’s 7 p.m. preseason game vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. The event, which is slated to take place from 1-5 p.m., will allow fans the opportunity to look at different seating locations throughout the arena and purchase tickets for the upcoming year. Former Capital and Hockey Hall of Famer Rod Langway will be in attendance at the open house, signing autographs and mingling with fans. Ticketing representatives also will be available to answer questions, and fans will have the chance to learn about the many different ticket options available for the 2007-08 season.
The team offers a variety of season ticket and mini-plan packages and has unveiled two new season plans including a “2 for 1” plan and “Flex Pack.” The Flex Pack provides fans with the opportunity to enjoy some of the most exciting games of the season against the Capitals’ biggest rivals in lower level seats and catch the remainder of the regular season from great seats in the upper level.
Fans also may choose from five newly released mini-plan packages available for the 2007-08 season. Options include the “Pack the House Six Pack” that includes six games for as low as $99 and the “Rivals Six Pack,” which features the Capitals’ home opener, two matchups vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins and games against the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs.
As an added bonus to the exciting event, those who purchase any ticket plan at the open house will receive free tickets to the Caps/Flyers game later that evening. Those fans who purchase full season tickets during the event will receive a free Alex Ovechkin
autographed replica hockey stick as a special thanks for their support.
Fans interested in attending the event should enter the Verizon Center gates on F Street. For more information call (202) 266-CAPS (2277).
