ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capitals single-game tickets for the 2014-15 season will go on sale on Monday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at 202-397-SEAT, on WashingtonCaps.com, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex and at all local Ticketmaster outlets, including the Verizon Center box office.
The Capitals will open the 2014-15 season against the Montreal Canadiens at Verizon Center on Thursday, Oct. 9. Washington has four homestands of at least three games on the schedule, the longest being a five-game stretch at Verizon Center from March 5-15.
Nearly half of the Capitals’ home games at Verizon Center fall on weekends, which includes four games on Friday, nine on Saturday and six on Sunday. The schedule features holiday home games on the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 28 vs. NY Islanders), New Year’s Day (Jan. 1 vs. Chicago) and Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 1 vs. St. Louis).
Verizon Center has been sold out for 222 consecutive Capitals games including playoffs, and for the fifth-straight season the Capitals sold out every home game in 2013-14.
In addition Capitals full-season ticket memberships are now available to purchase, starting at just $32 per game. Full-season ticket memberships are the only way to guarantee access to purchase 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic ticket packages. Partial plans, group tickets, and Rinkside and Clubhouse all-inclusive packages will be available for sale at a later date.
