Capitals Recall Eric Fehr and Mike Green from Hershey

Washington, D.C. – February 3, 2006 – The Washington Capitals have recalled forward Eric Fehr and defenseman Mike Green from Hershey of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.
Fehr, 20, made his professional debut with the Capitals on Dec. 18, playing one game before being assigned to Hershey. He leads the Hershey Bears and ranks fourth among all rookies in the AHL with 44 points (21 goals, 23 assists) in 48 games. Fehr recently competed in the AHL All-Star Classic for Team Canada, taking part in both the skills competition and the All-Star game.
Green, 20, has played 12 games for the Capitals this season. He leads all rookie defensemen in the AHL with 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) in 38 games with Hershey this season.
