Capitals Players Visit Bolling Air Force Base

Washington Capitals forwards Chris Clark, Ben Clymer, and Brooks Laich paid a visit to Bolling Air Force Base in Southeast Washington, DC on Dec.12.  The players signed autographs andposed for photos with troops and their families as well as appeared on two local sports radio talk shows.  Clark and Laich first sat in on Sportstalk 980’s Brian Mitchell Show, while Clymer made a later appearance on the John Thompson Show. The players were also visited by Colonel Kurt F. Neubauer, Commander of Bolling Air Force Base’s 11th Wing. Bolling Air Force Base is home to over 1,600 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel including the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and the U.S. Air Force Band. In addition, Bolling Air Force Base provides expeditionary-combat support and base-operating support to Air Force personnel and their families in the National Capital Region.
