Capitals Launch Papa John's College Night Saturday

First 368 College Students Get Free Admission and Pizza
 
WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 23, 2007 – The Washington Capitals, Papa John’s and DC101 have teamed up to create Papa John’s College Night, which will debut this Saturday at Verizon Center when the Capitals take on the Carolina Hurricanes.

For only $21 students with a valid college ID will be able to purchase a ticket to any Capitals home game this season and will receive a coupon for a free large Papa John’s pizza.  
 
To kickoff the Papa John’s College Night, the first 368 students in line this Saturday at Verizon Center (7th and G streets entrance only) with a valid college ID will receive free admission to the Capitals game and will also receive a coupon for a free large Papa John’s pizza. One game ticket and pizza coupon will be given out per person with a valid college ID. Capitals players and mascot Slapshot will be on hand to sign autographs, shake hands and pose for pictures with students lining up for the Southeast Division tilt with the Hurricanes. In addition, the Capitals Entertainment Team will also be outside Verizon Center with promotional items for the students. After the game local restaurant RFD (7th Street between H and I streets) will have specials for students who are 21 and older.    
 
DC101 will visit college campuses this Friday, giving away an additional 101 tickets to the game as well as 101 coupons for free large pizzas.
