Children and adults from Fort Dupont Ice Hockey Club, Two Rivers Public Charter School, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital area, Best Buddies Maryland and Best Buddies Virginia comprised the 250 people who were the first to take advantage of this new community initiative, each receiving free tickets to tonight’s game.
Lincoln Holdings LLC, ownership group of the NHL’s Washington Capitals and WNBA’s Washington Mystics also presented a $100,000 check to the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation at tonight’s game.
Organizations interested in taking part in Josh’s Kids are now able to sign up on the Capitals website, WashingtonCaps.com, to receive complimentary tickets to Capitals games for the use of students, members, staff and volunteers.
