ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capitals individual game tickets for the first three home games of the 2015 Stanley Cup Eastern Conference semifinals versus the New York Rangers will go on sale to the public on Thursday, April 30, at 7 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 202-397-SEAT, on WashingtonCaps.com, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
The Capitals defeated the New York Islanders 4-3 in the best-of-seven quarterfinal series with a 2-1 victory in Game 7. Evgeny Kuznetsov scored the game-winning goal in the third period to become the first rookie in Capitals playoff history to score a series-clinching goal in Game 7. Washington will face the Rangers for the ninth time in franchise history and the fifth time in the past seven seasons. Verizon Center has been sold out for 266 consecutive Capitals games (including playoffs) and, for the fifth straight season, the Capitals sold out every home game this season.
