The Capitals defeated the Boston Bruins 4-3 in the best-of-seven quarterfinal series with a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory in Game 7. The Caps/Bruins series marked the first time in NHL history that every game in a seven-game series was decided by a one goal margin. Washington has now reached the postseason in five consecutive seasons, the longest streak in franchise history since the Capitals made 14-straight appearances from 1982-1996. The Capitals five-straight postseason berths is tied for the fourth-longest active streak in the NHL.
Verizon Center has been sold out for 149 consecutive Capitals games (including playoffs) and, for the second straight season, the Capitals sold out every home game this season.
Additional all-inclusive ticket packages are available in the Capitals Rinkside Club and 200-Level Clubhouse.
