Games include blackjack, Texas hold'em, roulette, craps and slots. There also will be an auction featuring Capitals game-used equipment as well as autographed items from other professional NHL athletes. A live auction will offer fans the chance to win unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences with players. In addition fans can also win autographed memorabilia, hotel stays and gift certificates through the raffle.
The event starts at 7 p.m. and will end at 10 p.m. The VIP reception will take place from 6-7 p.m.
All tickets include entry to the event, food, beverage and access to casino games and auctions. VIP tickets include entry to the VIP reception, an hour-long exclusive chance to mingle with the team at the start of the event. Must be 21 to attend, dress is cocktail attire. For the first time "Bid Only" passes will be available for $20 each and will allow fans who are not local or not able to attend the event access to bid in the Casino Night silent auction (but not entry to the event). All funds raised from the 2018 Capitals Casino Night will benefit MSE Foundation. Last year's Caps Casino Night raised more the $280,000. MSE Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the Washington Capitals that offers unique resources and programs to various charities and nonprofit organizations throughout the D.C. area on behalf of the team. Each ticket, less benefit received of $190, is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
