Capitals Assign Klepis

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Capitals have assigned forward Jakub Klepis to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced.

Klepis, 20, has played 25 games with the Capitals this season, recording one goal and three assists. He was most recently recalled on March 14. Klepis scored his goal in his first career NHL game, Nov. 4 vs. Atlanta. In 48 games with the Bears this season Klepis has 11 goals and 17 assists (28 points).
