The Washington Capitals announced today several initiatives in recognition of the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs presented by Boeing. Highlights Include:

Murals
Fans are invited to visit Capitals-themed murals throughout the region in celebration of the 2019 Stanley Cup® Playoffs. The Capitals partnered with local artists to install the murals across several neighborhoods within Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. More information about the mural locations will be released on Capitals social channels throughout the week.
In addition, the Capitals will install a mural at Ludlow-Taylor Elementary School in Washington, D.C. on April 14.
Puppy Playoffs
The inaugural Capitals Puppy Playoffs filmed at Olde Towne Pet Resorts debuted on April 8. Visit

to see the puppies face-off in game of hockey, with Capitals play-by-play voice John Walton and NBC Sports Washington analyst Craig Laughlin calling the action. #ALLCAPS Campaign
Fans are invited to pick up 12"x18" "We Are ALL CAPS" campaign signs for lawn placement at the Medstar Capitals Iceplex Team Store. The offer is limited to one item per person, while supplies last, during normal store hours.
Yardhouse Playoff Headquarters
Yardhouse will serve as the official Chinatown Playoff Headquarters and after-party location for all Capitals playoff games. Fans are invited to visit Yardhouse for giveaways, alumni visits and happy hour specials throughout the playoffs.
Red Deliveries
Capitals mascot Slapshot and Red Rockers will visit more than 200 bars throughout the Washington, D.C., area to deliver Capitals décor, flags and additional items in celebration of the Capitals playoff run.
Caps Playoff Practices
Fans are encouraged to attend the Capitals' playoff practices at MedStar Capitals Iceplex throughout the playoffs. All practices are free and open to the public. In addition, on Monday, April 8, NBC Sports Washington will stream Capitals Talk: Playoff Preview with Rob Carlin and Alan May beginning at noon on the MyTeams app. The program will also air on NBC Sports Washington that evening at 6pm and 10:30p.m. and on April 9 at 7:30 p.m.
ALL CAPS Mr. Wash Car Wash
Fans can redeem an ALL CAPS Car Wash at all Mr. Wash locations for $8 through Wednesday, April 10. To redeem the $8 ALL CAPS Car Wash, give the secret password 'ALL CAPS' to the car wash attendant.
Additionally, all red cars will receive a free car wash through April 10. An ALL CAPS Car Wash includes a Lava Wax Wash and Capitals swag bag that includes car-themed items for fans to show off their Capitals pride.

Giveaways
All fans at Game 1 will receive a rally towel and light stick courtesy of Boeing, while all fans at Game 2 will receive a rally towel and light stick courtesy of Capital One.

MSE Foundation Fundraiser
Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation (MSE Foundation), the charitable arm of the Washington Capitals, is hosting a fundraiser through which the winner will receive two suite tickets to every Washington Capitals home game at Capital One Arena during the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The fundraiser is currently open and will close at 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday, April 9.
The suite tickets include food and beverage, and the winner will also receive a 2018-19 team-signed Washington Capitals jersey.

So Kids Can Auction
MSE Foundation is also hosting a
So Kids Can auction
during the First Round. All proceeds will benefit Heart of America Foundation. The auction features autographed items from So Kids Can participants Nicklas Backstrom, Braden Holtby and Tom Wilson, along with suite tickets to concerts at Capital One Arena and an autographed Cal Ripken, Jr. baseball bat.
The So Kids Can auction is currently open on

The Capitals hosted their annual Soar to the Playoffs pep rally, presented by Boeing, on April 5 at Francis T. Evans Elementary in Clinton, Md. The event featured street hockey, poster making, giveaways and an appearance by Slapshot.
