fan week hero

We are celebrating the best fans in the NHL this week with #CapsFanWeek and highlighting some fun stories of our fans. Each day we'll spotlight a new group of fans.

Monday:
Thanks to their dad, these two brothers, Ross and Paul, were born and raised Caps fans and now bring their own sons to games. A month before the big win last summer, their dad passed away. The two of them went to every playoff game in D.C. including Las Vegas for game five, and well...we know the rest.
"We felt like our dad was there sitting next to us like he did our whole lives. We know he was there with us watching our team finally win the Cup."

Tuesday:
This little guy's name is Luke. His parents brought him to his first Caps game when he was 2 months old!!! He's been a fan ever since. His favorite player is Braden Holtby because Luke says "he has very good blocking skills". You're not wrong, Luke!

Wednesday:
This is Jim -- you've probably seen him around the arena on gamedays. He started painting his face in 2006 for the playoffs and it has now become his tradition and he's a staple at all home games!
