Mike Zalewski Reassigned to Utica

Vancouver, BC - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has reassigned forward Mike Zalewski to the AHL Utica Comets.

Zalewski, 24, appeared in one game for the Canucks this season, where he recorded 13 shifts (8:03 TOI). The 6-2, 195-pound Left Wing has also skated in 5 games for the Comets this season where he has registered 1 points (0-1-1) and 8 penalty minutes.

In 2015.16, the forward appeared in 58 games for Utica where he ranked tied for fifth in points (33) and tied for third in goals (16). Zalewski also skated in three games for Vancouver, collecting an assist (0-1-1) along with two penalty minutes.

The New Hartford, New York, native was originally signed by Vancouver as a free agent on March 14, 2014.
