Vancouver Canucks prospects camp opens Friday, September 10

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today the expected roster and schedule of their Prospects Training Camp opening Friday, September 10thin Vancouver. Following medicals, testing and on-ice sessions in Vancouver the Canucks Prospects Training Camp will relocate to Penticton, BC where all on-ice practice sessions will be open to the public. Admission to practices at the South Okanagan Events Centre is complimentary. For more information regarding tickets for the Young Stars Tournament go to canucks.com/youngstars.

27 players are scheduled to report to Rogers Arena on Friday, September 10th for pre-training camp medicals and testing. Players will be available to the media at Rogers Arena from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Media should enter the building through Gate 16, located off of Abbott Street.

The Canucks prospects will take to the ice in a closed session at Rogers Arena beginning Friday, September 10th at 1:30 pm.

On Saturday, September 11th, the prospects will take to the ice at Rogers Arena beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday, September 12th, the prospects will travel to Penticton, BC, to open the Young Stars Tournament at 4 p.m. (PT) versus the Edmonton Oilers prospects at the South Okanagan Events Centre. On Monday, September 13th, the Canucks prospects will practice at the SOEC from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The Canucks prospects will play the San Jose Sharks prospects at 7:30 p.m. (PT) at the SOEC. The Canucks prospects will again practice at SOEC from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 14th. Wednesday, September 15th, the Canucks prospects will practice from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by a 4:00 p.m. game at the SOEC versus the Anaheim Ducks prospects. The Canucks prospects will play their last Young Stars Tournament game Thursday, September 16th versus the Calgary Flames prospects at 12:00 p.m.

All eight games of the Young Stars tournament will be available live on Canucks.com beginning September 12th. Full details on the Young Stars Tournament can be found at canucks.com/youngstars.

The Veterans will report to Rogers Arena Friday, September 17thfor medicals, testing and media availability The Veterans’ Camp roster and schedule will be released at a later date.
