CANUCKS VS SENATORS PREVIEW:

The Vancouver Canucks face off against the Ottawa Senators for the second of two meetings this season. The Canucks previously faced the Senators on Oct. 10 in Vancouver.

Vancouver is 4-4-2 in their last 10 games against Ottawa (1-3-1 in their last 5).

Tonight's game marks the Canucks first road trip of the season that sees stops in Ottawa (Oct. 17), Boston (Oct. 19), Buffalo (Oct. 20), Detroit (Oct. 22) and Minnesota (Oct. 24).

MILESTONE NIGHT:

Derek Dorsett is one game away from his 500th career game. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 11/08 at Phoenix with the Columbus Blue Jackets and has accumulated 45-74-119 and 1248 penalty minutes over the span of 499 games.

Thomas Vanek is 1 point from amassing 700 for his career. He is already the highest scoring player of Austrian descent in NHL history and with his 700th point will become just the 53rd player born outside of North America to register 700 or more points in his career (credit: Elias Sports Bureau).

FAMILY LEGACY:

On Oct. 14 against Calgary, Brandon Sutter became the sixth member of his family to reach 600 games played, joining Brent (1111), Ron (1093), Rich (874), Brian (779) and Duane (731).
