The Canucks face off against the Nashville Predators for their first of three matchups this season. The Canucks visit Nashville next week on Dec. 13 and conclude the season series in Nashville on Apr. 4.
Vancouver went 1-1-1 in the season series versus Nashville in 2017.18 (2-2-1 in the last five games; 4-3-3 in the last 10 games). Following tonight's game, the Canucks embark on a three-game road trip that sees visits to St. Louis (Dec. 9), Columbus (Dec. 11) and Nashville (Dec. 13).

MORNING SKATE UPDATE

Nikolay Goldobin, who was a healthy scratch Tuesday against the Wild, returns to the line-up tonight versus the Predators. The 23-year-old forward skated with Bo Horvat and Jake Virtanen this morning and said afterwards he's fired up to return.
