Vancouver, BC - The Vancouver Canucks will honour Henrik Sedin's 1,000th career NHL point with a special on-ice pregame ceremony prior to the 7:00 pm puck drop on Saturday, February 4th versus the Minnesota Wild. Sedin registered his 1,000th career point with a goal in a 2-1 Canucks win on Friday, January 20th versus Florida.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early as Sedin's historic milestone will be celebrated with a special pregame ceremony which will include a tribute video that looks back at some of the significant moments of his career, leading up to this historic achievement. There will also be feature content throughout the evening reflecting a distinguished 16 year career including in-game tributes from former teammates and peers from around the NHL.
Canucks fans can commemorate the night with limited edition Henr1K merchandise available exclusively at the Canucks team store including Henr1K tees and commemorative pucks. Each fan in attendance will also receive a Henr1K themed magazine on their seats.

Sedin earned his 1,000th career point on January 20th versus the Florida Panthers, becoming the first player in franchise history with 1,000 points. He also became the seventh active player to reach 1,000 points, the 85th player all-time to reach the milestone, the 38th player all-time to record 1,000 points with one franchise and the fourth Swedish-born player to record 1,000 points in the NHL.
Canucks fans are also reminded that the club will honour the Canadian Armed Forces this Thursday, February 2nd when they host the San Jose Sharks at Rogers Arena. Loyal Canucks season ticket holder have shown their generosity and support for our Canadian Armed Forces by donating their game tickets for Thursday's game.
