We hope that by participating in an event like this that we can help foster the growth of players in grassroots hockey in British Columbia.”

The Vancouver Canucks, BC Hockey, Hockey Canada, Victoria Salmon Kings and the Victoria Grizzlies are coming together to provide a unique coaching experience for minor hockey coaches, parents and volunteers from all over Vancouver Island. With the support of the Westin Hotel and with countless hours of support from Victoria Minor Hockey Association and local minor hockey associations, the main focus of this free event is to provide an opportunity for the minor hockey community to hear from coaches of all levels of the game. The Canucks Centre for BC Hockey is a partnership between the Vancouver Canucks, BC Hockey and Hockey Canada. The Centre provides a direct tie between the club and the hockey communities throughout the province with an emphasis on the grassroots hockey development of players, coaches, officials, administrators and parents.
