Canucks Reassign Jayson Megna

...to the Utica Comets

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has assigned centre Jayson Megna to the Utica Comets.

Megna, 27, played one game with the Canucks and has collected one assist and four penalty minutes in four games with the Comets this season. He split last season between Vancouver and Utica, where he recorded eight points (4-4-8) in 58 games with Vancouver and three points (1-2-3) in four games with the Comets.

Megna has appeared in 113 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, the New York Rangers and Vancouver. He has collected 20 points (10-10-20) and 28 penalty minutes over that span.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent on July 1, 2016.
