Vancouver Canucks Alumnus, Jeff Bandura, To Participate in "Ride for Hope"

VANCOUVER, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks alumnus Jeff Bandura will participate in the 200 km long “Ride for Hope” on Team Floraglo in support of Canuck Place on July 11th at 7:00 am in Surrey. Individuals interested in participating are invited to ride for either a self-discretionary segment of the trek or the entire route.

The “Ride for Hope” will start from the Campbell River Store at 176th Street & 8th Avenue in South Surrey, BC.  Riders will be accompanied by support vehicles to assist with food, water and equipment along the route. The route will head east towards Aldergrove, north to Fort Langley, across the river via the Albion Ferry, east to Mission, Deroche, Agassiz, and on to Hope.  From there, the team will head back to South Surrey via the backroads of Chilliwack, Yarrow, Abbotsford and Langley.

To demonstrate your support, Team Floraglo is imploring individuals to either make a donation or to ride a bike in the “Ride for Hope.” These individuals will receive an official “Ride for Hope” wristband for their help in making the event a success. All proceeds will go to Canuck Place.
