$1Miill 5050- Congrats_FINAL_half_MW2

Vancouver, B.C. - The Canucks for Kids Fund, in partnership with Ascend Fundraising Solutions (FS), is excited to confirm that the 50/50 jackpot at last night's Canucks game vs the LA Kings reached a new record of $1.413,630 million. It is believed to be a new world record for the largest 50/50 raffle in history.

The winning ticket holder was Gordon Schimpf from West Kelowna, BC. He bought the winning ticket online at Canucks.com/online5050 and receives a prize of $706,815. Funds raised from this special event will support the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children's Hospice and the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
The $1.4 million jackpot was made possible thanks to Ascend FS who guaranteed a minimum prize of $500,000 for the 50/50 raffle winner. The goal of this special 50/50 event was to raise funds for charity while eclipsing the previous record of $1,014,555 for the largest 50/50 raffle in Canadian sports history. The record was set at Rogers Arena on April 5, 2018 during the Sedin twins' final home game.
"Thank you to Ascend FS for their incredible support and to Canucks fans all over BC who helped make tonight's record 50/50 raffle possible," said Paolo Aquilini, President of the Canucks for Kids Fund. "It was one of the most exciting nights we can remember. The biggest winners are the children and families from the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children's Hospice and the BC Children's Hospital Foundation."
"The Canucks have some of the best fans in the world and they certainly proved that last night," said Daniel Lewis, CEO of Ascend FS, "Congratulations to the entire Canucks organization for setting the record and raising significant funds for three great charities."
Tickets for the 50/50 raffle went on sale on November 20 to fans across BC online and were also sold at Rogers Arena during the Canucks game vs. LA on November 27th. The Canucks for Kids Fund runs 5050 Raffles at each home game and fans attending the game can purchase in arena or at home by visiting
