Vancouver, BC -The Vancouver Canucks in partnership with Sportsnet announced the 2018.19 broadcast schedule today, delivering all 82 regular season games and six pre-season games exclusively on Sportsnet channels and on Sportsnet 650 radio. Coverage kicks off with a national broadcast of the season opener versus the Calgary Flames on Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey on Wednesday, October 3rd.

Canucks games will air nationally 34 times. Highlights from the national broadcast schedule include 17 Hockey Night in Canada matchups, five appearances on Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey and two Rogers Hometown Hockey Sunday matchups.
Sportsnet Pacific will broadcast 48 regional games with 46 games airing on Sportsnet Pacific and two airing on the Sportsnet ONE companion channel, Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey. All regional broadcasts will feature play-by-play commentator John Shorthouse, former NHL goaltender and analyst John Garrett, host Dan Murphy and rink-side reporter Irfaan Gaffar.
Sportsnet 650 is the exclusive radio home of Vancouver Canucks hockey, broadcasting every game live including all seven Canucks pre-season matchups. Play-by-play announcer Brendan Batchelor returns to the broadcast booth alongside analyst Corey Hirsch. For weekend broadcasts, Joey Kenward and Alex Auld will deliver pre-game intermission and post-game insight, while Andrew Walker and Scott Rintoul cover pre-game duties during weekday home games. Canucks reporter Mira Laurence completes the radio broadcast team, providing intermission and post-game updates rink side.
