Vancouver, BC – PepsiCo Canada and Canucks Sports & Entertainment (Canucks) today announced a power play that will give Vancouverites a refreshing new taste experience at Rogers Arena. Through this new partnership, PepsiCo Canada scores dual exclusive beverage and snack (through its Lay’s brand) supplier status of the Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena.
The partnership marks an exciting new era for PepsiCo Canada and the Canucks franchise, and extends the company’s deep roots in Canadian hockey including long-standing partnerships with Hockey Canada and the National Hockey League. Beginning on opening night, fans can enjoy the triple pleasure of a Pepsi beverage, a bag of Lay’s chips and first-class hockey.

Through the agreement, visitors to the arena will now have access to PepsiCo foods and beverage products including Lay’s potato chips and other PepsiCo Canada snacks, PepsiCo fountain drinks at concession stands and PepsiCo vending machines offering the company’s entire portfolio of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. The multi-year beverages partnership includes branding and advertising placements at food and beverage activation points (including all concessions, restaurants, bars and other outlets within the arena); branded Pepsi cups; arena in-seat ordering; LED rink board signage; 100-level concourse and spectator stairway branding; in-game features and more. The Lay’s brand partnership is an exclusive multi-year deal whereby the brand will be designated “Official Potato Chip of the Vancouver Canucks & Rogers Arena”.
In celebration of the new partnership, PepsiCo Canada is pleased to donate $10,000 and a pair of Canucks home game tickets to the Canucks Center for Kids Fund in support of the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey. Supported by the Canucks for Kids Fund and in partnership with BC Hockey, the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey is a direct link to over 60,000 minor hockey players throughout BC. The Centre is committed to creating opportunities for grassroots hockey players of all ages, levels and backgrounds by assisting in the development and recognition of female hockey, minor hockey initiation, and the skill improvement of players and coaches. Each year, the Centre programs provide minor hockey players, coaches, and parents the opportunity to visit Rogers Arena and benefit from interaction with the Canucks players, coaching staff and administrators.
