Penalty Free Challenge

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks

BC Hockey team first and penalty free challenge at General Motors Place is a free event for minor hockey boys and girls of all age categories. These two contest driven events allow minor hockey players and coaches throughout the province an opportunity to visit General Motors Place and practice with their hockey hero's.

The Team First practice with the Canucks contest is a Hockey BC initiative, which minor hockey teams submit entries based on a common theme showing examples of respect , team work or fair play.

The penalty free challenge is another BC Hockey initiative held during Minor Hockey Week. Teams throughout the province submit game sheets where their team has played a game with no penalties. This BC Hockey initiative also encourages fair play, team work and respect.
