Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks recently announced changes that will greater enable fans with peanut allergies to enjoy Vancouver Canucks events. The Canucks will have peanut restrictions in effect during the October 10th Open Practice and the January 17th Super Skills events.
“In an effort to accommodate our fans with peanut allergies, peanuts in the shell will not be sold during Open Practice and Super Skills” said Harvey Jones, Vice President and General Manager, Arena Operations. “We hope this initiative provides fans with peanut allergies an opportunity to enjoy a Canucks event in an environment that is more conducive to their situation.”
Fans with a peanut allergy are encouraged to contact the Guest Services hotline at 604.899.7440 prior to attending events at General Motors Place to advise of their peanut allergy. This information is communicated to the event staff so they can make guests with a peanut allergy as comfortable as possible during Canuck games and other events at General Motors Place.

Alternatively, while at General Motors Place, Guests can pick up a Fast Facts Guide from the Guest Service Centres located at sections 104, 114 and 310. Any guests attending events at General Motors Place are encouraged to speak with a member of the event staff if they have any questions regarding peanut allergies or other services offered at General Motors Place.
Tickets for the Vancouver Canucks Open Practice are still available and can be reserved through Ticketmaster. Charge-By-Phone 604.280.4444, on-line at www.ticketmaster.ca or at the Chevy Pickup Window at General Motors Place. There is no charge for admission; a handling fee of $4.25 will be accompanied with each order. There is a limit of four tickers per household.
