Offside with Kevin Bieksa

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks
There's enough talk about the tight Northwest division and power-plays so we decided to take the players away from the rink to find out a little more beyond the game. Go .

What is your Starbucks drink?

Grande mild.

What's in your CD player?

I've got a few but I don't want to say. I'm listening to Johnny Cash. I'll say that one.

Who would play you in a movie?

Kevin Bacon because I got my first name after him. Although I'm not really sure if it's true. I hope it's not but it's always been the joke in our family.

What would you call the movie?

The Sleeper.

What was your worst subject in school?

I don't know... I enjoyed school. Probably English, I didn't like writing all the essays.

What is the worst locker-room smell?

Something coming from over in Burrows' stall, I'm not too sure what it is but something in one of the pieces of his equipment smells pretty bad.

If you were Prime Minister of Canada, what would you change?

I'd probably lower the taxes.

If you had only four hours to show someone around in Vancouver, where would you go?

I would go to Grouse Mountain, Capilano Bridge, probably take them to Granville Island with the ferries, and if I had time I would boot them up to Whistler.

If you had a racehorse what would you call it?

What is the dumbest purchase you've ever made?

I can't think of anything off the top of my head, everything I purchase is just well thought out and a great deal. (laughs)

What is one thing everyone should try at least once?

Bungee jumping (I've never done it but I should).

Who on the team would you choose to be your partner on the Amazing Race?

It's that show where they travel around the world right? Probably Trevor Linden because he seems like he would know a lot about different cultures.

What is your favourite city to visit?

Montreal, New York, Las Vegas.
