Vancouver Canucks defenseman Nikita Tryamkin got a point in his NHL debut against the Colorado Avalanche at Rogers Arena on Wednesday.
Tryamkin, 21, was credited with the secondary assist on Henrik Sedin's goal 12 minutes into the game.

Tryamkin (6-foot-7, 228 pounds) was Vancouver's third-round pick (No. 66) in the 2014 NHL Draft. He played 53 games this season in the Kontinental Hockey League before arriving in Vancouver last week.
