Reports to: Manager, Event Staff & Security

SUMMARY: Working at Rogers Arena during events, the Staff Services Assistant (Wardrobe) maintains and distributes uniforms and bar-coding scanning equipment to our event staff, including Guest Services Supervisors, Hosts, Security, Housekeepers, Conversions and Concierge.

(other duties may be assigned as required)

  • Prepares and distributes uniforms to staff (full-time and event)
  • Maintains uniforms, including repairs and cleaning
  • Manages inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and uniforms are identified with a proper inventory number
  • Sources out new uniform suppliers, as required and places orders
  • Maintains purchasing and vendor files, including purchase orders and product delivery information
  • In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, arranges fittings for all new hires, ensuring the required documentation is completed and uniform cleaning procedures are provided
  • Coordinates the barcoding scanning equipment:
    • Responsible for pre-event set-up
    • Responds to scanner issues as required during the event
    • Ensures that all scanning equipment has been returned post-event
    • Prepares equipment for next event
  • Performs additional administrative duties, including:
  • Posting event staff schedules and maintaining/updating the daily event binder
  • Updating event staff messages/communication boards, as required
  • Providing support and back-up relief to the Scheduling Department, as required, including time sheet maintenance/edits and generation of exception reports


  • High School diploma
  • Must be a team player with a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Sewing or alteration experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MSWord and MSExcel would be an asset
  • Previous inventory control experience would be a definite asset
  • Must be available to work frequent evenings and weekends, shifts are based on the event schedule and begin mid to late afternoon running through the event and up to 1-2 hours post event
