SUMMARY:
Our Event Retail team works in a unique retail environment combining a conventional retail setting with the excitement of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks. With a large retail store, eight kiosks and four auction locations within Rogers Arena we believe that we offer the best product selection and customer service in the business. Silent Auction Retail Sales Associates draw on their past experience and current skills, along with specialized on-the-job training to maintain our high service standards. Associates must be available to work evenings and weekends, and are required to commit to working the majority of the games during the season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(other duties may be assigned as required)
  • Setting up and taking down silent auction displays
  • Communicating promotional information and auction procedures to customers
  • Providing a high level of customer service and salesmanship
  • Processing payments for successful bidders of auction merchandise
    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    • The minimum education required is a secondary school diploma
    • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience
    • A demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment and to take on tasks independently
    • Enthusiastic, professional, self-motivated and eager to learn more about the retail and auction industry
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
    • Must be available to work weekdays, weekends
