Henderson homecoming tour visits Vancouver

Experience the 1972 Summit Series this Saturday, April 2nd when the Henderson Jersey Homecoming tour visits Rogers Arena.

This interactive traveling experience houses Paul Henderson’s iconic jersey, Summit Series memorabilia, photo opportunities and more.

The trailer will be located in the North Plaza and open before the game from 4-6 PM and after from 9-11 PM.

Paul Henderson will make a special appearance from 5-6 PM, so don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to see history.

For the kids out there, Paul Henderson scored the game winning goal in game eight of the 1972 Summit Series against the USSR. It is widely considered the most iconic moment in Canadian hockey history. Check out the goal and Foster Hewitt’s famous call.

For trivia buffs out there, defencemen Dale Tallon and Jocelyn Guevremont were two Canucks who were a part of the squad in'72 for Team Canada.
