Our long travel day is behind us and although it wasn’t the most exciting time ever, this is my blog, so you’re going to hear allllllll about it.
The day started off with Juice picking Burr and I up from our homes. We all had about the same amount of luggage, so can't really throw any jabs, however Juice's luggage was all matching. Enough said.
I've never traveled to Europe from Vancouver, so I was curious of the process. It wasn't bad at all, just on the different side of the airport. It’s a whole new world over there.
Before our flight we met up with Morgan Rielly and Sam Reinhart and made our way to the 10 hour flight to Germany. All the guys were prepared: noise canceling headphones and laptops full of entertainment. I tried to stay awake until food was passed out, but as you can see by Burr's twitter, I started the "bird feeder" right away.
The flight wasn't bad and after some TV watching, a couple naps, dinner, and breakfast, we landed in Germany. We had less than two hours before our flight to Zurich so we relaxed, grabbed a coffee and found our gate. Our gate was changed last minute and if it wasn't for Sam Reinhart, who was constantly checking, we might be in Portugal right now!
But, we made it and are now in The Land of Yannick Weber. And chocolate. We have practice later this evening and will be able to meet all the guys and get some exercise in after the day of traveling.
Sprechen Sie bald! (Talk to you soon)
