Gaunce invited to national junior dev camp

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks, in conjunction with Hockey Canada, are proud to announce that centre Brendan Gaunce has been invited to attend Canada’s National Junior Summer Development Camp.

The Summer Development Camp will include two days of training and three days of exhibition play. Players and staff will travel to Montreal, QC, for practice sessions August 4-5 at the Montreal Canadiens training centre. Following those two days of training, players and staff will depart for Lake Placid, NY.

In Lake Placid, the Canadian National Junior Team will play exhibition games against Finland, Sweden and the United States from August 7-10.

Gaunce, 19, was selected by Vancouver 26th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The Markham, ON, native recorded 60 points (33-27-60) in 60 regular season games with the OHL Belleville Bulls in the 2012.13 regular season before adding 22 points (8-14-22) in 17 playoff games.
