Fin Competes in the 2015 Mascot Games

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks

On the weekend of June 19th-20th, Fin travelled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the 2015 Mascot Games benefiting New Hope for Kids. Having won the Games last year, Fin and the rest of Team Blue looked to defend their championship title. This annual sporting event tests the abilities of close to 30 mascots from sports teams across North America, with the top team walking away with a trophy and the distinction of champions of the mascot world. Having attended the past 11 Games, Fin is no stranger to the broad assortment of wild games including an obstacle course and inflatable joust. Despite a valiant effort, Fin and Team Blue were unable to walk away with the trophy succumbing to Team Green composed of STUFF from the Orlando Magic, Sebastian representing the University of Miami, Orbit from the Houston Astros, Slamson representing the Sacramento Kings, and N.J. Devil from the New Jersey Devils.

The games were an exhilarating experience for our Vancouver-based Orca, who looks forward to competing next year in an effort to win back the title.
